My name is Sarah and I was given a rod by Dan H after working with him for 6 years in the CAF Primary Reserves. He recognized that I would benefit from receiving a rod and reel kit from Heroes Mending on the Fly Canada.
Heroes Mending on the Fly Canada – thank you for providing me with an avenue to return to a skill that has been dormant for many years.
I am very grateful for the rod, reel, line and fly to start back on my fly fishing journey on beautiful Vancouver Island. It’s awesome that this organization helps to get service members out of nature “on the fly.”
Thank you again Heroes Mending on the Fly Canada. May the birds’ nests be few, and the fish be a plenty! Tight lines to all.
