Meet Mike
Good Morning, everyone!
My name is Michael Cotts, and I am a Canadian Army veteran with 25 years of service as a Combat Engineer. I completed six tours before being medically released in 2012, and I have no regrets about my years of service.
Fishing is my greatest passion, and I spend two or three days a week on the water. Saskatchewan offers incredible angling opportunities, and, in my opinion, this is the best time of year to enjoy them. Although I typically jig for walleye, over the past three years I have had great success catching them on flies from the bow of my boat. Northern pike are also a lot of fun to catch on the fly!
I am pleased to have accepted the role of Saskatchewan Director for Heroes Mending on the Fly Canada (HMFC), and I look forward to helping our chapter grow.
